PURPOSE:To obtain a plasma display panel with a small area per picture element and a large discharge space by coating the slip mixed with ceramic powder and ultraviolet-hardening resin at a specific ratio on a glass substrate, and forming barriers with different heights. CONSTITUTION:The slip mixed with inorganic powder 100 pts.wt., ultreviolet- hardening resin 20-100 pts.wt., and a proper quantity of a dilution solvent and adjusted to the coatable viscosity is coated on a glass substrate 1 and dried. A coating layer is exposed by the first exposure mask 2 via a light permeable window 6, and coating, drying and exposure are repeated to form hardening resin. The slip is coated on a lower layer and dried, then the coating layer is exposed by an exposure mask with the exposure width changed. Barriers with different heights are formed. The area for one picture element can be reduced, and the discharge space can be made wide. |
