Eyewear which comprises a frame front (26) and a first and second hinge (22, 24) coupled to the frame front (26). A first and second temple (28, 30) are pivotably coupled to the frame front (26) through the first and second hinge (22, 24) respectively. The first and second temples (28, 30) are movable between a closed position and a use position. The first and second hinges (22, 24) bias the first and second temples toward the use position. At least a first catch (38a, 38b) is disposed on the eyewear. The catch (38a, 38b) is operable to retain the temples (28, 30) in the closed position in opposition to the biasing of the first and second hinges.
