PURPOSE:To confirm a safe working state, by providing an auxiliary lever which is attached to an end of a parking brake and supported rotatably and relatively to the body of a hand lever and then detecting the deflection of the auxiliary lever which is obtained via an elastic substance. CONSTITUTION:A bracket 2 fixed to a car body is attached to the body 3 of a hand lever 1 via a support shaft 10 along with an auxiliary lever 21a. The lever 21a bears the shaft 10 through the both wing parts 24a which support an extending part 23a extending to the back of the body 3 and at the same time connect a control wire 4 with a pin 25 and with a prescribed space. An elastic substance 26 is distributed at the part 23a and the back of the body 3, and furthermore a switch 27 is fixed. The switch 27 is set so as to detect the prescribed position of compression by the compression corresponding to the force of operation given from the body 3 of the substance 26. Thus the prescribed working of a parking brake can be confirmed by the detection signal thus obtained. An operating device of a similar constitution can be obtained with use of a pedal in place of a hand lever. |
