In the chuck body (1), the chuck jaws (3) are arranged symmetrically around the axis (4) of rotation and are guided so as to be inclined relative to the axis of rotation. A clamping ring (2) is mounted in such a way as to be rotatable and axially fixed on the chuck body (1) and is provided with a clamping thread (7) for adjusting the chuck jaws (3), which clamping thread (7) meshes with a row (8) of teeth on each chuck jaw (3). Located on the clamping ring (2) is a receptacle (10) for attaching the drilling machine spindle in such a way that it is locked against rotation. Viewed in the direction from the drilling machine spindle to the chuck jaws (3), the clamping thread (7) has a direction of rotation through which the chuck jaws (3) are adjusted for clamping the drilling tool when the clamping ring (2) rotates clockwise on the chuck body (1), as a result of which the drill chuck receives self-tightening and re-tightening properties. …<IMAGE>… |
