PURPOSE:To securely maintain the fitting state of a joint by rotating a photosensitive drum forward faster than the driving speed of the photosensitive drum by a developing roller which rotates at a peripheral speed faster than the photosensitive drum until a cleaning blade is made to abut on the photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive drum 31 and developing roller 333 are made to start rotating at the same time and the cleaning blade 361 is made to abut on the photosenstiive drum 31 a specific time later. Therefore, the developing roller 333 which rotates at the peripheral speed faster than the peripheral speed of the photosensitive drum 31 can rotate the photosensitive drum 31 forward faster than the speed at which the photosensitive drum 31 is driven. Consequently, the fitting state of the joint 31 which drives the photosensitive drum can securely be maintained. |
