PURPOSE:To enhance the workability and the corrosion resistance to the positive active material of a positive active-material case and a positive current-collecting member, and increase the capacity of a high-temperature battery by using a highly-pure iron-chromium alloy in preparing the positive active-material case, the positive current-collecting member, or at least surfaces of these members which touch the positive active material. CONSTITUTION:In a high-temperature battery, the below described alloy is used for a positive active-material case, a positive current-collecting member, or at least surfaces of these members which touch a positive active material. The alloy is an iron-chromium alloy which consists of Fe, 40-60wt% of Cr, below 0.02wt% of C and below 0.015wt% of N, and contains, according to necessity, 0.05-1wt% of at least one element chosen from among Ti, Nb and Zr. |
