<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit the time for inserting a holder mounted on a key to the insert hole of a reader every time by providing such a structure that a theft preventing device can be released only by a driver's approaching a vehicle with the key thereon without requiring the input of a ciphor code. SOLUTION: In this vehicle theft preventing device, a relay 20 is provided in the circuit between a traveling drive apparatus A for moving a vehicle and a power source 34 in order to perform the ON/OFF of supply of the power source 34 to the traveling drive apparatus A, and a transmission part 1 for transmitting a signal to a fixed station 4 is provided on the grasping part of a key. When a vehicle driver approaches a vehicle with a carried key in the hand, and the electromagnetic wave of the natural ciphor code from the transmission part 1 is coincided with to the electromagnetic wave of the preliminarily registered natural ciphor code of the fixed station 4, the solenoid valve of the relay 20 provided on the traveling drive apparatus A is actuated by the fixed station 4 to supply the power source 34, so that the traveling drive apparatus A can be operated. When the key is inserted to a cylinder in this state to connect an engine key, the engine is operated in general state to operate the traveling drive apparatus A.</p> |
