<p>PURPOSE:To secure the correspondence between the push pressure information and the selection information and to attain the real time change of the selection information with change of the push pressure by providing a detection means in a pointing device to detect the button push pressure. CONSTITUTION:A user inputs the button position information via a pointing device 2. These input information are sent to an input part 7. At the same time, a button pressure detection means 3 detects the button push pressure of a user an reports this information to the part 7. An input information analyzing means 9 receives those information via an input control means 8 and calculates the degree of pressure from the pressure information to convert it into the output control information. An output control means 10 controls the output of the information stored in an output information memory part 11 to an output device 4 based on the output control information. As a result, the selection contents of the selection information sent to the device 4 are changed in accordance with the button push pressure.</p> |
