Brewing unit, consisting of brewing funnel (7) and associated pot (4), for use in electric brewing appliances (1) for the preparation of coffee or tea beverages. The brewing funnel has a funnel part for reception of a filter inserted loosely into it and a supporting rim (8) for supporting the funnel on the pot (4). The pot has a relatively large volume but low height. The supporting rim (8) is displaceable upwards and downwards along the funnel (7) and can be secured in different positions by means of a catch mechanism (12, 15). In this way, the entire height of pot and brewing funnel can be adapted to different types and sizes of brewing appliances. <IMAGE> |
