PURPOSE:To reduce the number of contactor by connecting a current suppressing resistor in parallel with the contactor and providing function for short-circuiting the current suppressing resistor to the contactor. CONSTITUTION:A current suppressing resistor 8 and a diode 9 are connected in parallel with a contactor 13, while a regenerative brake force increasing resistor 7 and a diode 14 are connected in parallel therewith. Cathode of the diode 9 is connected to the inverter side and the cathode of the diode 14 is connected to the source side. Under normal operation mode, drive current flows through the contactor 13. Under regenerative brake mode, regenerative current flows through a series circuit of the diode 14 having cathode connected to the source side and the current suppressing resistor 8. By such arrangement, the number of contactor 13 can be reduced. |
