The bed is formed from a general dismantleable frame with its corresponding legs, with which frame are associated the headboard and foot board, in a removable manner. The bed base is formed by three articulated parts, an intermediate part, another, front part and another, rear part. Said three portions can occupy any horizontal and inclined position, without distinction and independently, as a result of manual actuation, these positions being locked, in the front and intermediate portions, by means of a lateral lever, by the wedging, on a bolt, of a portion with a hole in which said bolt is accommodated, the latter arranged laterally, and the hole portion belonging to a plate connected to the lever. Locking of the rear part is effected by insertion of a pivot, corresponding to an arm articulated on said rear portion, into one of the holes made in the frame. <IMAGE>
