Inflatable filtering device for closing colostomies, designed to obturate the colostomy openings, for application in the field of abdominal surgery, comprising an inflatable balloon 2 which effects the obturation and a tube 1 full of filtering material which allows the intestinal gases to come out freely without their odour. The tube is fixed to an external cap which contains the valve mechanism for inflating and deflating the balloon. <IMAGE>
