<p>PURPOSE:To make weft-stretchable woven fabrics and 2-way woven fabrics by mean of a fluid-jetting type weaving machine by sizing a covering yarn containing a polyurethane fiber as a core yarn under specific conditions and inserting the sized yarn as a weft. CONSTITUTION:A highly shrinkable covering yarn containing a polyurethane fiber as a core yarn is sized with a mixed sizing agent containing partially saponified polyvinyl acetate and an ammonium salt of acrylic acid-acrylate copolymer (the mixing ratio is 1/4 to 2/3) so that the sizing pick up is adjusted to 4-10%, then the yarn is inserted as a weft. A stretch woven fabric having almost equal quality to rapier woven fabric can be produced by means of a fluid-jetting type weaving machine.</p> |
