PURPOSE: To enable development with an aq. alkali soln. by using a prescribed polymerizable compd. and a specified elastomer binder. CONSTITUTION: This mixture contains a radical polymerizable compd., a polymn. initiator and an elastomer binder contg. a graft polymer having hydroxyl groups as essential components. A compd. having one or more terminal ethylenic unsatd. groups and a high b.p. of >=100 deg.C, e.g. trimethylolpropane triacrylate is used as the polymerizable compd. The graft polymer is obtd. by grafting a polymer chain contg. units of vinyl ester of 3-20C carboxylic acid on a polymer consisting of a diisocyanate and diol and having a prescribed mol.wt. as a graft base and further esterifying the polymer with an acylating agent.
