<p>PURPOSE:To improve operation circumstances of a window by changing the thickness of a window frame and validating the select indication of a cursor to a position in a prescribed length or shorter distant from the frame before the elapse of a certain time at the time of moving the window frame on a display picture. CONSTITUTION:At the time of expanding/reducing a window 2 in a state (a), a cursor 4 is moved to a window frame selectable area 5. A window frame 3 has the same thickness as the area 5 as shown by a state (b) to indicate that selection is possible. Though the cursor 4 is moved out of the area, selection is possible when a prescribed time does not elapse yet. The button on a mouse is depressed to move the cursor thereafter, thereby expanding or reducing the frame 3 in accordance with movement of the cursor s shown by a state (c). Finally, the cursor 4 is stopped in an arbitrary position, the button is released and the thickness of the frame 3 is restored to the original thickness at the time of elapse of the prescribed time after movement to the outside of the area 5, and the picture in a hidden area is drawn again, thus completing expansion/reduction of the window 2.</p> |
