PURPOSE:To obtain direct type bilirubin reference substance capable of accurately measuring bilirubin, in a measuring method using a stabilized diazonium salt as a color forming agent, by using a base prepared by adding alubmin to bilirubin conjugate. CONSTITUTION:14mg of bilirubin conjugate is dissolved in 100ml of a phosphate buffer solution (1/15M, pH7.0) and 5g/dl of bovine alubmin is added while the pH of the resulting solution is adjusted to 7.0. Bilirubin is one prepared by bonding taurin to bilirubin and, by combining alubmin, the absorbing characteristics of the bilirubin conjugate can be almost coincided with that of serum bilirubin. As the alubmin, one occuring from bovine, human or other animal is used and egg white alubmin is further used. |
