PURPOSE:To economically and effectively deodorize odorous gases in the microorganism decomposition process of protein, etc., by executing the oxidation of the malodorous gases by a fluorinating agent acting as a positive monovalent fluorine ion supplying source and executing the reduction thereof by metal hydrogenation, then deodorizing the gases by a deodorizer essentially consisting of a betaine structural body. CONSTITUTION:The malodorous gases are passed through an air permeable non woven fabric deposited and fixed with the fluorinating agent acting as the positive monovalent fluorine ion supplying source, by which the odorous gases are deodorized. The deodorization of the smells in the microorganism decomposition process of mainly the protein, etc., in the odorous gases is executed by the oxidation and the nitrogen and sulfur compds. in the odorous gases generate NOx and SOx. The gases are then passed through an air permeable non-woven fabric deposited and fixed with the metal hydride. As a result, the NOx and SOx are reduced and are converted to NH3 and H2S. The effective deodorization of the NH3 and H2S are thereafter executed by the deodorizer essentially consisting of the betaine structural body. This method is effective for the materials associated with living bodies contg. the nitrogen, sulfur, oxygen, etc., forming the greater part of the malodorous components in the molecule, more particularly the odorous gases of the microorganism decomposition process of the protein, etc. |
