PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a device and to improve the safety thereof by providing a stopper and clamping brake to a carriage to be driven via a worm reduction gear and disposing a shear pin in a revolution transmission mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The driving force of a motor via the worm reduction gear 17 and a coupling 22 is transmitted to a pinion shaft 20. The carriage 9 is moved back and forth by a pinion 23 and a rack 24 and is thus positioned. The stopper 37 provided with a leaf spring buffer is provided to the carriage 9 to stop a material. A shear pin 49 is disposed to the coupling 22. The pin 49 is broken to prevent the failure of the reduction gear 17 when the materials runs astray. The carriage 9 is stopped after moving by a slight distance by the operation of the clamping brake provided to the carriage 9. The device 3 for stopping traveling is reduced in size and the safety is improved with such mechanism. |
