PURPOSE:To make a die assembly small in size, and also to make a cost of equipment inexpensive by forming a press die of a punch and a die by only a forming part and a positioning guide mechanism, and an accessory mechanism such as a lift mechanism, etc. on a press machine side. CONSTITUTION:A press die assembly 20 is formed by only under and lower dies 22, 23 having forming parts 22a, 22b aligned with a shape of a formed part, and a positioning guide mechanism 24 of a die. An attraction head 34 of a carrying- in mechanism 33 attracts and holds a work and carries it into the die assembly 20, and places it on the lower die 23. Subsequently, the attraction is released, and the attracting head 34 is returned to its original position. Thereafter, a ram 29 is made to descend, and a product 1 is formed by the upper die 22 and the lower die 23. Next, the product 1 is carried out by a carrying-out mechanism 34 having an attracting head 37. According to this mechanism, the number of parts is decreased and also the die becomes small in size. Accordingly, the cost of equipment including the die assembly 20 becomes inexpensive. |
