A case for a fuel cell, wherein laminated structures comprising first pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tapes (36a), holdingly adhering members (38), and second pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tapes (36b) are present between case bodies (22) and pressure relief covers (34). Accordingly, the adhered surfaces of the case bodies (22) are not separated from the adhered surfaces of the first pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tapes (36a) and the adhered surfaces of the pressure relief covers (34) are not separated from the adhered surfaces of the second pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tapes (36b) merely by a force applied to the pressure relief covers (34) with a prescribed pressure. However, by properly selecting the material of the holdingly adhering members (38) and the adhesive areas of the holdingly adhering members (38) to the first pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tapes (36a) or the second pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tapes (36b), the case for the fuel cell can be easily designed so that the case bodies (22) can be separated from the pressure relief covers (34) by the force applied to the pressure relief covers (34) with the prescribed pressure. |
