PURPOSE:To make an adjustment to the quantity of exposure corresponding to fine image density by varying an exposure lamp applied voltage stepwise with a smaller voltage difference in fine adjustment mode than in standard mode. CONSTITUTION:The console panel is provided with a 'Thick' key 1 and a 'Thin' key 2 for increasing or decreasing density stepwise every time one of the keys is pressed as adjusting keys and a fine adjusting key 3 for fine density adjustment. Then there are, for example, seven keys and the 4th stage is utilized for standard density; and the voltage applied to an exposure lamp 9 is set equal between the standard mode and fine adjustment mode in this 4th stage and the applied voltage difference in the fine adjustment mode is smaller than that in the standard mode. The fine adjustment mode may be provided so that the mode can be switched between a dark mode and a light mode. |
