PURPOSE:To obtain the subject foamed article having extremely uniform and fine foam structure and useful for the composite molding with an internal trim part of automobile by modifying a specific mixture with an organic silane, compounding a foaming agent, extrusion-molding the composition and foaming the extrusion molded article after crosslinking. CONSTITUTION:The objective foamed article can be produced by (1) compounding 90-20 pts.wt. of a propylene random copolymer with 10-80 pts.wt. of a propylene block copolymer each containing 0.1-15wt.% of ethylene, (2) compounding 90-50 pts.wt. of the obtained propylene resin with 10-50 pts.wt. of a polyethylene resin, (3) compounding the product with an organic peroxide. an organic silane and, as necessary, an antioxidant, (4) further compounding an azodicarbonamide having heat-decomposition properties characterized by a weight-reduction initiation temperature of >=180 deg.C, exhibiting a weight reduction of 1% at 193 deg.C and requiring >=5min for the weight-reduction of 1% at 170 deg.C, having particle diameter of 1-80mum and containing 15-30vol.% of particles having diameter of <=1mum, (5) extrusion-molding the composition and finally (6) foaming the molded article after crosslinking in the presence of water. |
