PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, consisting of a specific saturated polyester using an alkylene oxide adduct of bisphenol A as a glycol component and an alkyl etherified formaldehyde resin and excellent in processability and corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition consisting of a saturated polyester, consisting of (A) an acid component consisting essentially of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid (ester) and (B) a glycol component, consisting of (i) 10-60mol% alkylene oxide low adduct of bisphenol A expressed by formula I (R is 2-3C alkylene; m and n are >=1; 2<=m+n<=4) and (ii) 0.5-10mol% alkylene oxide high adduct of bisphenol A expressed by formula II (p and q are >=1; 7<=p+q<=16) and having >=0.2dl/g reduced viscosity and an alkyl etherified formaldehyde resin. |
