<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the production of congestion by decreasing a setting value of transmission interval timer when traffic is small, increasing the transmission time interval of an information frame when the traffic is increased, and suppressing the traffic given to a network. CONSTITUTION:A traffic state discrimination section 5 discriminates the traffic state of a network 20 based on a predetermined criterion according to the reception state of a transmittal confirming frame and a retransmission request frame and sends the result of discrimination to a transmission interval timer value deciding section 4. The transmission interval timer value deciding section 4 decides the transmission interval timer value based on the transmission interval timer value incrementing/decrementing method decided in advance and sets the time value to a transmission interval timer value register 3. When the arrival of congestion is discriminated, the transmission time interval of the information frame sent from an information frame transmission processing section 6 is extended, the traffic given to the network 20 is suppressed, resulting that the congestion state is avoided.</p> |
