Method and arrangement for tamperproof handling of a flag in a tubular flagpole 1 with a single flag rope 14 running internally in the flagpole, and in which the flagpole 1 has a screw connection 7 or the like, which is securely mounted in the flagpole 1 and extends through a hole 9 in the surface of the flagpole, and through which screw connection 7 a flag rope 14 can be drawn, and in which the flag rope 14 has a length which essentially corresponds to the height of the flagpole 1 above the screw connection 7, the lower end 18 of the flag rope 1 being fastened to a lockable holder member 17 when the flag is hoisted. For handling the flag, there is a separate reef line 19 for temporary connection 20 to the lower end 18 of the flag rope 14 so as to allow lowering of a flag, which line is removed from the flag rope 14 again and stored elsewhere after a new or different flag has been raised. <IMAGE> |
