PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition of high dielectric constant, low dielectric loss, and small temperature factor for dielectric constant, by adding a smaller amount of Bi2O3 than a specific value to the main component composition containing, BaO, TiO2, Sm2O3, CeO2 and Pr6O11 at a specific molar fraction. CONSTITUTION:Less than 10wt.% of Bi2O3 is added to the main component composition of the above-cited oxides in the following mole fraction ranges; 7<=x<=17, 57<=y<=63, 23<=z<=33, 0<=z2<=12 where 10<z-z1-z2. Thus, the subject dielectric ceramic composition for microwaves is obtained. The dielectric porcelain composition has about 80 of high dielectric constant at the microwave numbers, low dielectric loss and a small temperature factor for dielectric constant. These properties show that the composition becomes a dielectric porcelain which is very useful as circuit units or base used in microwave frequency region. |
