PURPOSE:To continuously obtain a rolled food in high efficiency by equipping part of an endless belt-like caterpillar with a forming apparatus provided with both a forming channel and a press mold. CONSTITUTION:A continuously traveling endless belt-like caterpillar 10 is continu ously fed with a film 2, a food material sheet 3 and food ingredients 5 successive ly in this order. (1) A forming apparatus 16 to roll the ingredients 5 in the sheet 3 and make a forming and (2) a heat sealer 18 for the film on the outer periphery of a rolled food formed by the apparatus 16 are provided. The forming apparatus 16 is made up of (a) a forming channel 22 having an opening in the direction identical with the traveling direction of the caterpillar 10 and composed of two sidewalls 20a, 20b set up at a specified interval and (b) a press mold 21, free to move vertically, to press a rolled food above the rear end of the channel 22. Thus, the objective rolled food can be produced in a continuous manner in high efficiency. |
