PURPOSE:To prepare a copy differing in its color only on its head page by controlling and changing over paper feeding such that the first document is fed from a paper feeding part in higher priority and the second and subsequent documents are fed from the paper feeding part in lower priority in a paper feeding device equipped with a plurality of the paper feeding parts. CONSTITUTION:With a power source turned on, and a numeral input key 19 pushed down, the number of copies is inputted, and the desired paper feeding parts are selected out of those parts 1-3 and inputted by means of a paper feeding part selection input keys 20, 21. Here, by pushing down a copying initiating input key 22, a copying operation is performe. And, it is judged in this case whether a paper feeding part in the first priority is selected or not by the key 20. If only the key 20 is inputted, i.e., only one paper feeding part is selected, paper is fed from this selected paper feeding part, allowing a copying operation for the set number of copies is completed. On the other hand, with the key 21 inputted, paper is copied after feeding the paper selected by the key 21, and thereafter the input from the key 21 is cleared. A copying operation for the second and subsequent documents are performed from a paper feeding part selected by the key 20. |
