The device is equipped with a mechanism intended to transmit a rotational movement of a mechanical member such as a pulley to another, by means of a link such as a chain, belt or the like engaged over the two mechanical members along a circular arc of possibly variable angle, and is of the type according to which the link and the mechanical members include parts which are intended to interpenetrate along the circular engagement arc.
