Method for launching an object, especially a vehicle for low cost experiments, in a ballistic orbit by carrying out the follwing steps: a) mounting the vehicle in an existing space inside the construction of a launcher for satellites between two stages thereof, especially at a stage of the launcher which does not contain the payload of the launcher, in such a manner that apart from the weight of the vehicle the mission of the launcher is not affected, b) after launching the launcher and after decoupling and separating said two stages ejecting the vehicle into space from the location at which the vehicle has been mounted. p
