Underwater vessel for projecting at least one rocket stored in its interior space with the use of a blow-off cap closing the discharge opening of the underwater vessel, the underwater vessel preferably being ejected from a torpedo tube of a submarine and being controlled via a control line from the submarine and also serving as a launch platform for the rocket. The underwater vessel has essentially two contra-rotating propellers driven by electric motor, a battery system and control means. To technically simplify the propulsion units, provision is made for two identical propulsion units consisting of electric motor, drive shaft and propeller to be provided which are fastened to the underwater vessel in such a way as to act on the same in an opposed manner.
