METHOD FOR MINUTIAE TRANSFORMATION USING TAYLOR SERIES FOR INTEROPERABLE FINGERPRINT RECOGNITION BETWEEN DISPARATE SENSORS

A method for minutiae transformation using taylor series for interoperable fingerprint recognition between disparate fingerprint sensors is provided to apply transformation parameters using the taylor series to a golden template generated by plural samples with the same fingerprint inputted from plural sensors, thereby improving the capability and reliability of the fingerprint recognition. A method for minutiae transformation using taylor series for interoperable fingerprint recognition between disparate fingerprint sensors comprises the following steps of: manufacturing a golden template configured by a visual minutiae(S10); calculating transformation parameters using the taylor series(S20); and compensating the location of minutiae data produced from an SIF(Standard Interchange Format Template) with the transformation parameters(S30).
