LIGHT EMITTING DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD OF THE SAME

A light emitting display device and a driving method thereof are provided to improve an image quality by decreasing a brightness difference among pixels of the display device. A pixel unit(P) is formed on a substrate. Scan lines(SL1,SL2) and data lines(DL) are electrically connected to the pixel units. Scan drivers(S1,S2) are electrically connected to the scan lines and supply scan signals to the scan lines. A data driver(D) is electrically connected to the data lines and calculates a resistance variation due to a length difference of the scan lines. The data driver supplies a first preliminary charging current to the data lines and supplies data signals to the pixel unit. The first preliminary charging current is increased or decreased according to the resistance difference values.
