PURPOSE:To inspect a disk exactly, by providing an appreciating track on an outer circumference or an inner circumference than a recording and reproducing track part. CONSTITUTION:On an optical disk, an address area 20 is provided, and also an appreciating track 51 which is not provided with separating signal information of sector separators 21s-50s on the outermost circumference of the disk, and an appreciating track 52 which is not provided with the separating signal information of the sector separators 21s-50s in the same way on an inner circumference than sectors 21-51 and the sector separators 21s-50s are provided in a state that it is possible to record and reproduce. According to such constitution, when an appreciating signal for an inspection is recorded in the appreciating tracks 51, 52 of the optical disk, a quality inspection such as a recording sensitivity test, a C/N test, etc. can be executed without using a guide track opened to a user. Accordingly, no sector separator is detected as a noise component, and the inspection can be executed exactly. |
