Forced-draught gas burner

In the case of a forced-draught gas burner, as homogeneous a fuel/air mixture as possible is to be produced, in order to achieve a reduction in the NOx formation during the combustion. A gas lance 6 has, for this purpose, in a first zone 8 seen in the flow direction gas outlet openings 7 with a small overall cross-section for producing a pre-mixture which is not yet combustible and in a second zone 9 gas outlet openings 7 with a sufficiently large overall cross-section to produce a combustible mixture. Both mixtures together result in a very homogeneous fuel/air mixture, the combustion of which leads to a reduced NOx formation. <IMAGE>
