PURPOSE:To increase a number of storage sheets and improve reliability with simplified constitution, in a paper feeder for a copying machine or the like, by the constitution such that coil springs of different diameters, urging a paper form to a paper feed part, are arranged neighboring to each other in a paper form storage box. CONSTITUTION:Paper P is placed on a mounting bed 47 in a cassette main unit 33, and both corner parts of the uppermost paper are stopped to a hook part 36 of a rocking member 37. In this way, urging members 48, 49 are formed to a crushed state and loaded with lift urging force. A cover 41 of this cassette 13 is folded back from a thin thickness part 42b and inserted into a paper feed part 50, and a paper feed roller 14 is adapted to the paper P. Under this condition, the paper, if fed, can be successively lifted by the urging members 48, 49 and fed in accordance with a feed of paper. These urging members 48, 49 are spiral springs of different diameters and formed at compression with their height about to their wire diameter. In this constitution, a cassette paper storage space can be widened to increase a storage quantity and paper feed reliability. |
