<p>PURPOSE:To enable effective reduction of the generation of vibration and the weight of a suction manifold by a method wherein a damping member formed of a damping steel plate is mounted in a range of the two or more branch pipes of the suction manifold and fastened against the branch pipes. CONSTITUTION:A plateform damping member 11 is mounted on the under surface side of the branch pipe of a suction manifold 3. The damping member 11 is formed of a pair of steel plates 11a and 11b and a material 11c located therebetween. The damping member 11 is formed in a plateform manner in succession in a range of two or more branch pipes in the direction of a cylinder train and in a shape extending along the branch pipes. This constitution enables effective reduction of the generation of vibration and the weight of the suction manifold.</p> |
