摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the influence of a change in the quantity of light, caused by the change in charging voltage, irradiation, angle, and film sensitivity information, without a large adding circuit by selecting flash duration time for flashing in order to emit the light equal to the quantity of light according to a charging condition, an irradiation angle of a strobe, and film sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 1 incorporates a timer 1c, an A/D converting part 1b, and an E<2>PROM 1a; a coded zoom point of an irradiation angle is inputted to the port A of the microcomputer 1 by a zoom unit 2. The sensitivity of a film loaded on a camera is inputted to the port B of the microcomputer 1. A switch SW 1 is a member for setting the quantity of emitting light, and sequentially changes the quantity of emitting light stepwise every time the switch is depressed. In such a manner, since a stroboscopic device is constituted so that the relation between the flash duration time and the quantity of the emitting light in each stage, such as charging voltage, irradiation angle, and film sensitivity, is stored in a main body in advance, the absolute quantity of light, that is, the quantity of light for each guide number can be always constant irrespective of difference in charging voltage and irradiation angle.
