PRODUCTION OF MULTICOLOR DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To stably produce the multicolor display device which is excellent in the adhesive property to color filters consisting of an org. high polymer and is improved in reliability to heat, etc., by providing transparent electrodes by an ion plating method on the color filters. CONSTITUTION:An ITO film is deposited on a substrate 1 and is formed to prescribed shapes by using photolithography to form ITO electrodes 2. A voltage is then impressed to the ITO film 2 in an electrodeposition bath prepd. by dispersing a polyester/melamine resin and dyestuff into water to form the color filters 3. The ITO is deposited on the substrate formed with the color filters 3 by the ion plating method and the 2nd electrodes 4 consisting of the ITO are formed to the prescribed shapes on the color filters 3 by using the photolithography. The opposite surfaces of the substrate 5 formed with the ITO electrode 6 and the substrate 1 are subjected to an orientation treatment and a liquid crystal 7 is crimped in the spacing. The multicolor display device which has the high adhesive property to the color filters consisting of the org. high polymer and is improved in the reliability is obtd. in this way.
