PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in properties of electrodes and to stabilize the excellent catalyst power of the electrodes by providing an intermediate layer consisting of a material which is nonreactive with a perovskite type multiple oxide between the perovskite type multiple oxide electrode and a base body. CONSTITUTION:This sensor has the structure formed by successively laminating a cathode 2, an oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte 3, and an anode 4 on the porous base body having heat resistance and at least either of the cathode and anode consists of the perovskite type multiple oxide expressed by formula Ln1-xAxCo1-yMeyO3-delta (Ln is at least one kind of the element selected from La, Ce, Pr, and Nd; A is at least one kind of the element selected from Sr, Ca and Ba; Me is at least one kind of the element selected from Ni, Fe, Mn, Cr, and V; 0<=x<=1, 0<=y<=1, delta is the oxygen deficient quantity). The porous intermediate layer 5 consisting of the material which is nonreactive with the perovskite type multiple oxide is interposed between the perovskite type multiple oxide electrode and the porous base body. |
