<p>PURPOSE:To transmit the power non-contactly to a power receiving and feeding device through a power receiving and feeding coil by generating induced current caused by the flux variation with the power receiving and feeding coil intersected by the flux and by converting the voltage based on the induced current for power transmission into the supply voltage of the power receiving and feeding device. CONSTITUTION:A feeding coil 3 is wound over an E*I type core 1 and a power receiving and feeding coil 4 is wound over the core 5 inside a power receiving and feeding device 3. Alternating current is supplied from an input terminal 6 to the feeding coil 2, from which flux is generated as shown in an arrow. If an electronic equipment 8 is arranged in the position where the power receiving and feeding coil 4 intersects the flux, induced current will be generated to the power receiving and feeding coil 4. Power transmission is performed by converting the voltage based on this induced current into the supply voltage of a power receiving and feeding device 3. In this way, as the power from a power source can be transmitted non-contactly to the power receiving and feeding device 3 through the feeding coil 2 and power receiving and feeding coil 4, a plug socket, etc., for power supply is dispensed with for the power receiving and feeding device 3, so that the power receiving and feeding device can be miniaturized and made lightweight.</p> |
