摘要 The invention relates to an arrangement for rotating the polarisation plane of a linearly polarised microwave through 90@, in which, for example, a T-shaped or Y-shaped aperture is arranged between two waveguides arranged mutually coaxially. The incoming waveguide is, for example, a rectangular waveguide, in which only the H10 fundamental wave mode of the microwave can propagate. The outgoing waveguide has, for example, rectangular, square, elliptical or circular cross-section, having dimensions such that only the two mutually orthogonal linearly polarised fundamental wave modes can propagate. The aperture is made and fitted with at least two PIN diodes in such a way that, from the horizontally linearly polarised wave in the incoming waveguide, a wave with linear polarisation rotated through +45@ or -45@ with respect thereto is produced in the outgoing waveguide. In the outgoing waveguide, the polarisation plane of the microwave is consequently rotated through 90@ by switching over the PIN diodes driven complementarily to each other.
