摘要 A CDP/BIN converter (11) for information transmission by means of, for example, line-connected transmission systems in which a conditioned diphase-coded (CDP) data signal is converted into a binary-coded (BIN) data signal of the same data content, has an edge detector (12) which is supplied with the CDP data signal and the output (17) of which supplies a series of short pulses corresponding to the rising and falling CDP data signal edges, furthermore, a multi-stage binary counter (20), the stage (25) of which, the output (31) of which supplies signals with a transmission speed equal to that of the CDP data signal, is reset when a sequence of short pulses specifying a zero in the CDP data signal is received and thus outputs a preconverted data signal, and furthermore a post clock unit (35) which, by sampling the preconverted data signal in the correct phase, generates a BIN data signal. Such a CDP/BIN converter has less power consumption and its construction saves space. <IMAGE>
