The invention relates to a device for moving objects, composed of two parts which are arranged one above the other, the lower of which is mounted on the base in a movable fashion via rollers or balls and the upper of which can be connected to the lower end of the object and can be raised up from the lower part by means of a lifting device. The invention on the one hand consists in the fact that horizontally oriented primary bolts are seated on the upper part and can be pushed from the outside into the base of a cabinet-like structure, and in that the lifting device takes the form of a screw device. This solution is intended for cabinets which extend all the way down to the floor. On the other hand, the invention consists in the fact that when the upper part is in the lower position, the height of the device is such that it can be moved beneath a cabinet-like structure and that the lifting device takes the form of a screw device. This solution is intended for cabinets which have feet with empty space between them.
