PURPOSE:To suppress the influence of a grating lobe without narrowing view width and to execute a B mode and a D mode by oblique linear scanning by interposing a switching means to change over the coupling of plural oscillators in a channel and a fixing delay means. CONSTITUTION:A reception delay circuit 150 gives reception delay to a received signal corresponding to the B mode, D mode and focus condition obtained from a preamplifier 130. When the B mode and D mode are executed by the linear scanning, the respective channels of an ultrasonic probe 100 are composed of two oscillators 100a, and the non-delay and prescribed delay are given to the respective channels by a fixing delay circuit 110. Thus, rectangular ultrasonic beam by the non-delay and oblique ultrasonic beam by the prescribed delay can be transmitted and received without executing beam deflection in a transmission system. Accordingly, a Doppler signal can be obtained by the oblique linear scanning by the oblique ultrasonic beam. Namely, the D mode picture of blood stream to be shown by an arrow 14 can be obtained. |
