摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the energy density and to reduce the self-discharging rate by constructing a cell with the positive electrode mainly composed of sodium.molybdenum oxides, the negative electrode consisting of a composite of a sodium alloy and a carbon material and a binder, and the non-aqueous electrolyte composed of a sodium salt and an ether compound. CONSTITUTION:The positive electrode 1 is mainly composed of sodium.molybdenum oxides, the negative electrode 6 consists of a composite of a sodium alloy and a carbon material and a binder, and the non-aqueous electrolyte is composed of a sodium salt and a non-aqueous solvent. The main components of the sodium alloy of the composite of the negative electrode 6 are sodium and lead, and the carbon material of which is carbon black and/or graphite, and the binder of which is olefinic copolymer rubber. Thereby the energy density can be increased and the fast charge and discharge are made possible too.
