PURPOSE:To eliminate glaring when an original cover is opened immediately after an original platen reached home position by permitting the device to be under the condition that destaticizing is completed and that a light source for a destaticizing and exposing device is turned off when the original platen reached the home position and stopped. CONSTITUTION:A table 5 consists of the original platen 41 for placing an original D and an original cover 13, which is provided with a platen sheet 13a which is overlapped on the original platen 41 and holds the original D so as to adhere the original to the original platen 41. In the returning process of the table 5, when copying is for the last one, a table motor 77' revolves at slow speed by a control signal from a microcomputer 75, and the table 5 is shifted at slow speed so as to ensure the time for destaticizing process completion. When the table 5 returned to the home position and stopped, an exposing lamp 40 is turned off. Thus, when the original cover 13 is opened immediately after the table 5 stopped in order to replace the original D, the glaring caused by receiving light is eliminated. |
