<p>A reflecting plate for an illuminating lamp includes a thermosetting resin interlayer formed on a substrate and carryign a thin metalic film. The resin is polyurethane or melamine, and the film is of a aluminium and is formed by vacuum deposition. The film may be covered by a transparent thermosetting resin layer 10-20 microns thick and formed by applying a soln. of resin and heatcuring so that the layer has a pencil hardness of 4H or higher. The substrate is a metal plate and the interlayer is at least 20 microns thick and has max. surface roughness of not more than 0.3 microns.</p> |
