Locking unit for conveying devices, especially for bulk materials

A plurality of locking units (11) for a bulk material conveying device can be combined to form a valve block (12), a plurality of pipes (17) opening out into a central main pipe (14). The said pipes (17) can be locked in the vicinity of the junction (23) by means of a piston valve (21), the path (19) of which is extended until it forms an opening (22) giving access to the main channel (14). When the piston valve (21) is closed, it is able to cut off granular pieces which have remained sticky and cast them through the opening (22) into the main pipe. The unit is of short design owing to the fact that the mutually adjoining locking devices are offset at an angle when they are clamped together using screw shackles (34). <IMAGE>
