The objective of the present invention is to provide a method of controlling electronic equipment using brainwaves. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises: a brainwaves receiving step of receiving the brainwaves of a user; a brainwaves analysis step of categorizing brainwaves according to the frequency and extracting the same; a pairing determination step of generating pairing signals after determining whether changes in the extracted brainwaves are identical to pairing patterns; a gap determination step of dividing the brainwaves depending on signals transmitted from a sensor generating gap signals; an operating pattern determination step of determining whether changes in the extracted brainwaves are identical to the operating pattern; and an operating signal generating step of generating signals to operate the electronic equipment, if the brainwaves, received in the operating pattern determination step, are identical to the stored operating pattern.
